Perfectly situated on the privately owned sandy beach of the Surfrider Beach Club, Windows on the Water is a premier Wedding & Gala Event Venue. Nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and Shrewsbury River, where elegance meets the beautiful, casual atmosphere of the New Jersey Shore, your guests will enjoy looking out at the waves breaking onto the sandy beach before ascending the stairs to the elegantly appointed Empress ballroom.
Windows on the Water offers sweeping panoramic views from their open air Atlantic Deck for Cocktail Receptions, which can also be enclosed and temperature controlled during inclement weather or during the off season.
Surfrider Beach Club was purchased by Mr. and Mrs. Lobiondo in 1986, and is now managed by the entire family. They take great pride in their luxurious facility, which attracts a prestigious clientele and has membership stretching as far as Long Island. Their children continue to keep past traditions intact as well as staying modern and keeping up with the ever changing and fast moving climate of our times.
Elpidio Cruz, the Executive Chef, is renowned for his diverse cuisine. Mr. Cruz maintains flexibility, working closely with the Catering Department to stylize the requirements of each event for varying cultures and individual tastes. After gaining years of experience in Miami’s jeweled Hotels & Restaurants, he decided to return to his roots in Monmouth County 16 years ago.
Tracy Bendian, the Director of Catering Sales, lends crucial insight into the planning and execution of events from her 20+ years of experience. She has worked in venues throughout the New York Metropolitan Area. Tracy’s passion and attention to the finer details of each event has become the common denominator for everyone working at Windows on the Water. You’ll also have full access to our large outside deck and private beach, so while the younger members enjoy themselves on the beach, the adults can supervise and relax in a serene setting on the outside deck overlooking the beach and ocean.
